"I need to know how contractors can learn more about offering financing."

Host Matthew Bratsis started by saying that whenever he gets this question, he always has the same solution: stop talking about finance.

Bratsis explained that from a contractor's perspective, viewing oneself as a financier or an affiliate of a big bank isn't useful when trying to serve a customer. Instead, it should be explained to customers that using a financing platform like OPTIMUS is about the same as using any other form of payment, like a credit card.

"What does your customer experience look like?" asked Bratsis. "Understand how people shop, and talk to them about how do they think they can sell more."
