After the latest Matt Chatts live episode, they answered some questions from the audience on how to find sales leads.

After the show, one contractor asked:

I want to know how to attract customers, especially more that need financing.

Matt Chatts co-host Donna Decoster started by explaining that companies can appeal to a broader customer base by including the fact that they offer payment solutions in their branding.

"If you're branding as you are the company in town that has payment solutions and you put the link on your website to find out if you can get prequalified for a new HVAC system," started Decoster. "That would be a good way to get more customers."

"Financing is a part of your customer experience," said Bratsis. "One of the best ways to get new customers is through referrals. And when you have a 'WOW' experience, and part of that experience is offering payment solutions and making it easy for people to purchase."

Bratsis went on to explain that working with branding or marketing experts can really help business leaders develop a strategy to emphasisze that they offer payment solutions in their brand. "It's about setting up a the right messaging for people that are out there, and financing is such a big part of that customer experience," said Bratsis.

"What they want is a solution," said Bratsis. "It is real, but the fact of the matter is that the people that are getting those higher interest rates know that they are not prime credit customers."
