How do I find opportunities to offer financing?
Bratsis started by suggesting that this question is far too common for what it is asking. "I think people get in their mind that you only want to offer it when someone raises their hand," said Bratsis. "What they're not understanding is that people who want to finance more than anybody are people with money."
One of the more common narratives around financing emphasize its importance because of a large percentage of Americans have less than $5000 in their savings accounts. And so because the average American has a lack of cash flow, they will ask for a payment solution instead.
"To sit there and say, 'I'm looking for more opportunities to be able to offer financing' tells me you're not offering it everytime," said Bratsis.
"Warren Buffet financed his own HVAC system on a 12-month no-no," exclaimed Bratsis. "If that guy can't afford it, nobody can afford it."
